The Wine Group is a leading producer of award-winning wines and beverages across 120+ brands, including Cupcake, Franzia, Benziger, and Meiomi. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Ripon operations and oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and team management.
Pay & Schedule
$70,304 – $95,000 per year
Full-time position. You'll oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules as needed.
What You'll Do
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, rework, and inventory control
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse team members to meet productivity and accuracy targets
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to staff
- Execute the daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse labor plan and support productivity enhancement efforts
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and assist with cycle counts and audits
- Ensure inventory control policies and procedures are followed to maintain accurate finished goods and packaging records
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support annual budget planning
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA, local, and state warehouse safety regulations
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance programs to ensure all machinery is operational
- Collaborate with management to implement best practices and new technologies
- Apply progressive disciplinary policies when necessary
What You'll Need
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- College degree or equivalent experience in warehouse management
- 5–7 years of supervision experience in a large-scale warehouse environment
- Strong ability to set priorities and work independently within guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in organizing work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Solid computer skills for inventory record-keeping and warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse best practices
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery including lift trucks, pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyors, and labelers
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must pass applicable testing requirements
