Claims Manager

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (salary)
Travel: Required
The Claims Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing residential, commercial, and industrial loss projects from estimate through completion. This position uses Xactimate to create accurate scopes of work, coordinate with clients and adjusters, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
What you’ll do
- Create accurate residential and commercial estimates in Xactimate
- Develop detailed floor plans and multi-level sketches
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Serve as the main contact for owners, adjusters, and consultants
- Coordinate emergency response services when needed
- Lead project meetings and maintain required documentation
- Identify hazards (asbestos, lead, mold) and ensure proper remediation
- Enforce safety protocols and report incidents
- Inspect vehicles and maintain emergency equipment
- Supervise subcontractors and internal field teams
- Complete punch lists and final walk-throughs
What you’ll be responsible for
- Producing highly accurate Xactimate estimates
- Leading projects from start to completion
- Maintaining budgets, safety standards, and client satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with industry and TPA requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in Xactimate, Sketch, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of construction practices and codes
- Residential estimating experience up to $3M
- Commercial estimating experience up to $15M
- Experience with demolition, decontamination, and structure cleaning
- Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and SDS compliance
Preferred
- 5+ years in construction, restoration, or estimating
